Kendriya Vidyalaya is a system of central government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Guna, Madhya Pradesh is one of Kendriya Vidyalaya which is located at Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The Kendriya Vidyalaya system came into being in 1965 under the name Central Schools, and has been affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) since then.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan known as KVS has a common syllabus and curriculum of studies. As of March 2016, there was a total of 1128 functional KVS across India.

All Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) are divided into 25 regions, each headed by a deputy commissioner. The three KVS abroad are in Kathmandu, Tehran and Moscow. Sanskrit is taught as a compulsory subject from classes VI to VIII.
